University of Dhaka
The University of Dhaka also known as Dhaka University or simply DU), is the oldest university in modern Bangladesh. The university is ranked number one on the Bangladesh University Ranking 2017. Established in 1921 during the British Raj, it has made significant contributions to the modern history of Bangladesh.
University of Rajshahi
University of Rajshahi is one of the largest Universities in the country and the largest with the highest seat of learning in the northern region of Bangladesh. After its foundation on July 6, 1953, the university has passed 64 years providing higher education and research. The university is located at the green premises of Motihar which is very close to the mighty river Padma and seven km. east from the Rajshahi City Center.
Jagannath University
Jagannath University as a govt. financed full pledged public university of Bangladesh is situated in the southern part of the city of Dhaka near the Buriganga. This prestigious educational establishment has a history of about 156 years which started in 1858 when Dhaka Brahma School was founded in 1858 by Dinanath Sen, Prabhaticharan Roy, Anathbandhu Mallik and Brajasundar Kaitra.
Khulna University
Khulna University is the 9th public university in Bangladesh, established in 1987. It is situated at Gollamari, Khulna, Bangladesh, by the river Moyur, beside the Khulna-Satkhira highway. The academic programs of Khulna University started on 31 August 1991 with only 80 students in four disciplines. Khulna University has 28 disciplines under six schools and one institute
National University, Bangladesh
